Shwmae Day is a special celebration in Wales that encourages everyone to start conversations in Welsh with a friendly “Shwmae!” or “S’mae!” — meaning “Hi!” or “How are you?”. It’s all about having fun, showing pride in our language, and using Welsh in everyday life. To mark the occasion, our pupils have created a wonderful video full of smiles, creativity, and plenty of Welsh spirit! We hope you enjoy watching it as much as the children enjoyed making it.
