Dear Families, 19.09.25
Back to School!
What a pleasure it has been reconnecting with the school and children so far this term. The children have settled back into routines well and have adjusted to their new class experiences. We hope you are enjoying seeing some of the learning experiences in classes on seesaw. Teachers will be making efforts to share information on our platforms so you can have a look at what's going on in your child's class. Thank you to all the staff for planning such exciting experiences and supporting the children..
Leadership Arrangements
At present, Mrs Matthews Deputy Headteacher and Mrs Banks ALNco are not at work at the moment but we hope to see them return soon. However in the meantime, Miss Thomas will be covering some of the duties of the Deputy Headteacher and Mrs Hughes will be supporting with ALNco duties.
Remaining staff have roles and responsibilities which we will share with you in future.
We have also had an exciting week selecting Head of Schools from our Year 6 children. It was such a tough decision and voting process as any of the children could have been selected. Congratulations to all who put themselves forward. We are lucky to have such responsible prefects supporting our school. Many congratulations to Evie, Ava, Mason and Curtis who will take the lead roles.
Governors
We have our Governors Annual General Meeting soon. After this we will share information about the roles within our Governing Body. We have recently sent out applications and interest for Parent Governors. We would really value your support. If you would be interested in becoming part of our Governing body as a parent representative, please respond with the application or contact for further information.
Parents Consultations
Teachers will be in touch with you to share a time for parent consultations. These meetings will be scheduled for the week commencing 20th October 2025. Please check Seesaw for your date and time closer to the event. If you need to rearrange or adjust times in accordance with your work patterns and other factors, I am sure teachers will be able to discuss this with you.
After School Clubs
We are in the process of arranging after school clubs so will share information soon. We have worked with Clwb Llan to make sure that the clubs don’t clash. Now Clwb Llan groups are set up. We can set up our school clubs to give children lots of experiences and choices.

B.E.S.T Vision - Together
We look forward to sharing more of our school development plans with you in future. We value and appreciate working together as a school community so we can achieve the best for our learners. Your opinions and suggestions are important and welcomed. It would be really helpful for you to remind the children of our school values to support the positive behaviours overall we are seeing at the moment in our school. Thank you for your continued support.
Many Thanks
Miss Forrest
