Welcome to St. Illtyd's Primary School

The staff, Governors and pupils are delighted to welcome you to our new school website. St. Illtyd’s Primary School is an English medium Primary School situated alongside the River Ebbw in Llanhilleth, growing from the amalgamation of two separate local schools, Brynhyfryd and Ty'r Graig Primary Schools in 2004.

Our school prides itself on continually addressing the need to evolve, in order to meet the expectations of teaching and learning in the 21st century. We place great emphasis on developing a strong partnership between home and school, as it is through working together - in an atmosphere of mutual respect and support - that we can provide what is best for our children. We are proud of our links with the community and the climate of trust, equality and mutual respect that exists.
